WSGA

The WSGA provides a variety of services to its member clubs and their members.  These services include:

Handicap Service

Provide club members with a Handicap Index® and access to the USGA GHIN app. Clubs also receive access to the USGA GHIN Admin Portal and course score posting kiosk.

Course Rating & Measuring

Each year, WSGA course raters measure and rate approximately 50 courses following the strict guidelines set forth by the United States Golf Association.  WSGA course raters attend yearly USGA calibration seminars to keep up-to-date with new procedures.

USGA GHIN Admin Portal

Championships

Over six months of competition are provided by the WSGA tournament department including state championships, qualifiers, Senior Tour, Net Partners, Scramble Series event and USGA qualifiers.  The tournament department also assists clubs with course marking and Rules interpretations.

Online Course Directory

The WSGA’s online course directory provides interactive information on member clubs, including a searchable map, course tour, scorecard, yardages, Handicap calculator, course description and more!

Publications and Promotion

The WSGA publishes the annual Wisconsin Golf Yearbook and Course Directory and provides copies to all member clubs and also maintains the Wisconsin.Golf website with daily coverage of all things golf in Wisconsin.

Rules of Golf Service

The WSGA conducts Rules of Golf seminars throughout the state for member clubs and individual groups.  The WSGA is also available to answer any rules disputes and/or questions.

Handicap Seminars

The WSGA offers handicap seminars to all member clubs/individuals and is available to answer any and all questions which may arise.

USGA Liaison

The WSGA monitors national issues, processes reinstatements to amateur status, attends USGA/PGA Rules Workshops to provide as much knowledge and information to our member clubs and members as possible.

There are two different types of club memberships, one for clubs that have a golf course affiliation ($200 annual dues) and another for clubs without real estate ($50 annual dues).
